Aida is a cute little Italian trattoria. It has a good wine menu but limited wine by the glass. The food is of decent calibre foreign-origin food you can find in Istanbul. What distinguishes this place is the fun service crew has while working. Happy people make a happy restaurant. And there is live piano every night, not too overwhelming but tasteful and casual.
What to order: If you crave Italian food, Aida will make your night. But it’s not the forefront of Italian cuisine, nor does it try to be. The pasta is alright. The filling of the duck ravioli is delicious for instance yet the sauce makes you wonder how an Italian would react to it. The cannoli though were especially good.
