Fincan is a cute restaurant by the sea with blue and white patterned tablecloths, a quirky, old, mustachioed owner and a wholesome lady in the kitchen.
I’m not necessarily a big fan of this place, because the prices have gone up more than what the food can offer. That being said, it is the go-to meyhane by the pier. The kitchen is still more refined compared to the its neighbouring restaurants.
What to order: You can order your favorite mezes or their suggestions. The tarama is a bit dry, the lakerda was a bit sandy, as if frozen and then unfrozen again. The bell pepper filled with sauteed eggplant was tasty but not special. Still, the service is cheerful and attentive.
